Last night I thought that perhaps a leg twitching is motion's equivalent of literary hyperbole. There was more to it than that, something about how tongues manipulate breathing into becoming language and how they disappear the most quickly after we die (while bones are poignant because they're silent but take longer to be reincorporated into the earth,) but I fell asleep.
