last night i attended my uni's weekly Anime Society screening.
during intermission, they played intro clips to old cartoons from the 80's, including some i'd never heard of before.
and in terms of cultural exchange, what is more important than listening to a bunch of British geeks sing retro cartoon themes about bunny pilots and robot cowboys?
i considered asking them to play the G.I. Joe intro, but thought it too laughable to watch elite American forces beat the crap out of terrorists (and let them get away) two days before elections ...
